This workshop built further upon the outcomes generated from SRPe’s Robotics, Autonomous Systems and AI in Advanced Manufacturing workshop which took place in May, and was delivered as part of SRPe’s ‘RAS & AI Impact Acceleration Initiative’, funded by the Scottish Funding Council, targeted at collaborative research opportunities for ‘academia-industry-public sector’ with high industrial impact.

The workshop brought together key academic experts from across Scotland across two of SRPe’s strategic themes (Robotics & Autonomous Systems; and Advanced Manufacturing) along with key stakeholders from across industry, public sector and the wider innovation landscape.

These included academic experts from across the SRPe universities; and key representatives from across Babcock International; BAE Systems; Baker Hughes GE; Hexagon MI; iTech Troon; Kuka; Spirit Aerosystems; Weir Group; the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre; The Data Lab; Opportunity North East; OGTC; Scottish Enterprise; Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service and Scottish Government.
