A webinar on Manufacturing Sustainability and the Circular Economy was held on 23rd August 2021 hosted by the Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe) and the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS). The webinar was part of the ETP Emporium COP26 Webinar Series.

The rapid adoption of sustainable and circular practices across our manufacturing sectors and their supply chains is critical to support delivery of Scotland’s strategic priorities towards Net Zero 2045 and post-pandemic Green Economic Recovery. It also presents significant economic opportunities for Scotland in terms of becoming more resilient and competitive in delivery of sustainable products and services.

The webinar brought together experts from industry and academia to showcase research and innovation in this area and discuss future opportunities and challenges.
